Who actually reads this?

I just got a huge boost of confidence from Lundy. So I’m going to do something brash before I can think about it. Calvin, I like you. A lot. Just read my blog. I’ll probably regret this decision of posting this here in about 20 seconds. But hey. A girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do. And I promise not to be the most awkward person you’ve ever met, or turn into a forever heartbroken sophomore who goes insane, when you call me crazy/weird/a total freak. Either way, I’d like to still be friends. If that’s what we are. Or acquaintances if that’s what we are. Or two random people with two classes together and a few of the same friends. Whatever works. But I just had to get that out there. Do with it what you will.

  1. Hi Megan. I do not like you similarly.
That said, I think that your admission is both sweet and valiant. Opening up your feelings and allowing yourself to become vulnerable is a terrifying task, and I respect your honesty. I don't think you're any crazier, weirder, or atotalfreaker than I had before. I wouldn't imagine treating you any differently, other than to acknowledge what you've stated here, than I had before you posted it. You're a beautiful, intelligent, talented and kind girl. But because my undeveloped romantic sights are set on someone else does not mean that you are any less wonderful. My inability to see us as soulmates is my flaw, not yours, in case you might attempt to believe so. I hope I've provided you some clarity. It's likely that what I've written is the clearest picture that you'll receive from me, lest you want to continue the conversation through text. But I'd be more than happy to stumble through verbal interchange about this subject or any other.
