Worst thing about packing?

You’re in your cute outfit for your grandmother’s birthday dinner, but decide to change once you get home because it’s as hot as Hades at 7:30pm, except… your comfiest summer clothes are packed. You’re therefore forced to resort to wearing the clothes you picked out for the next three days… because they’re the only things not packed. So you’ll be doing laundry daily until you actually leave, in order to have clean clothes…

The best thing about packing? You find all sorts of random shit stuff from like three years ago that you’d completely forgotten about, and then you laugh for a good five minutes and spend more time reminiscing than actually packing… until you realize you leave in three days, but you really need to be packed by tomorrow.

It’s going to be weird moving back home…

Basically this year has been like living away from home for college; I’ve pretty much been on my own since I keep myself cooped up and as far as possible from my grandparents, and I haven’t had to abide by a lot of what my parents rules are, and I’ve been fawned over every time I’ve seen my mother, which is wonderful. I’ve never been the prodigal child in our family, that’s always been Chris, then Chris leaves for boot camp, and Mommy’s eldest little girl leaves the nest for two years, and BAM! suddenly, I’m everyone’s favorite. It’s awesome. And since Chris is going to be gone for awhile, and I’m determined to be the first Rackley to graduate from college and get a degree, I’m going to be living the high life for awhile. So, it’ll be weird going back to living with my family for a little bit, but I think I’ll get right back into the flow of things after a few weeks. After all, I’m the prodigal child now… and I’ll be loving every minute of it.

I am so excited to go to college, and just live like an adult… finally. :D

And I’m totally getting my old school Mr. A-Z on right now… I’m in love with this right now…
